Mile 450 Continued....
Mile 450
We are leaving Greecy Creek Friendly today May 16th for Trail Days in Damascus, Va we found a ride from miss Connie's neighbor who will drive us for a fee. Glad to be leaving, cool while it lasted, but the only thing to do here is grow old or get Out!! No hiking till Sunday Baby!!!

Its Hailing!!!!!!!
It's hailing!!!
We are wayah shelter in North Carolina. (video to be posted soon!)

Nomad Shutting it Down in Wayah Shelter, North Carolina
Adam shutting it down for the night.
We hiked 12 miles today, our goal was 16 but forecast called for sever
thunderstorms and hail, we decided to stop at mile 12 where there was a
shelter and hunker down instead of getting caught in it while walking 4
more miles to the next shelter which was probably already full. Tomorrow
calls for sunny skies, looks like a 17 mile day which will bring us to
( NOC ) Nanahala Outdoor Center.
